I think it’s safe to say that Covid-19 qualifies as pestilence. The Bible suggests that the end of the world will be foreshadowed by pestilence, famine, earthquakes, locusts, fire, flood and other sucky things. Then there’s the Zombie Apocalypse, which is gaining momentum with the Millennials. But for argument’s sake let’s consider pestilence. I know it’s not in the top 10 of End of World Signs. I believe the current ranking is Fire, Earthquakes, Zombie Apocalypse. With pestilence ascoming in 2ND to last, ahead of the locusts.
So what about pestilence? Apparently it’s the real deal. It spreads worldwide quicker than fire. You can kill Zombies by shooting their heads off. But as of now there’s no solution for Covid-19, we’re trying to figure out how to make it go away, but it’s spreading.
So how is the Trump administration dealing with pestilence? Or any other cataclysmic event during his presidency? Well the president called out the Governor of California for not raking the forests as a preventative measure to the devastating wildfires of the summer of 2018, that’s a lot of bags of leaves! And of course he tossed out paper towels in Puerto Rico to the victims of Hurricane Maria. And it seems the president can’t make up his mind how he wants to deal with pestilence.
And that’s why I’m proposing an End of the World scenario. Trump can’t make up his fucking mind! It’s a hoax! No it’s bad! It will be over by Easter! No, plan on staying home! But only if your Governor tells you to! Everybody should wear a mask! But not me cause it’s unpresidential! This is literally the defination of a doomsday scenario.
