Hillary should have been President. There, I said it. We are suffering the results of our collective ignorance to think a former game show host and man who bankrupt Atlantic City, could be president. (I intentionally capitalized the president when I was referring to Hillary, Authors prerogative). “Many people are saying”, (say this in a Trumplike voice). “Many people are saying it was a huge mistake”! “Huge”! Some of us, no, most of us saw this coming. We all figured it was gonna involve the nuclear or the cyber. Who seriously thought it would be a virus. [Insert any Trump quote on how shocked he was when he learned it wasn’t going away anytime soon]
This is our new reality. Now, I’m not suggesting that Trump is responsible for Covid 19. What I’m suggesting is that this is the worst possible scenario for the United States of America to be in at this particular point in History.
But again, this is our new reality. Whether we dump on Trump or let it go, will not alter the outcome. All we can do is ignore his incompetence and pray more competent people find a way to prevail and save us all. And we should pray!
